“Most people try as hard as they can to match the movement between slabs,” says Stoffer. “But I seamed them with strips of brass, the kind of material that might have been in the house originally. It’s a very pretty element.”

Quarried in Italy, Lilac is an exceptionally elegant white marble with spectacular veining that ranges in dramatic shades of lavender to black.

A unique marble from the Apuane Alps in Tuscany, Italy with a cream-colored background complemented by bold grey veins that swirl across the surface in both linear and cloud patterns.
Quarried in Italy, Breccia Capraia is both fresh and historical. This colorful stone is distiguished by rich burgundy, violet, gold, and occasional green breaking across white and cream.
